Child Care Fees
As part of the Government of Alberta’s new Affordability Funding approach which started on April 1, 2025, a new fee structure makes child care costs lower and more predictable for all families. This replaces the childcare grants and childcare subsidy programs that were previously offered.
Alberta’s Government will pay on average 80 percent of the child care costs to the Dayhome Educator. The fees below are what families will pay for childcare with Child Development Dayhomes. Some dayhomes may charge supplemental fees if they offer additional optional services which will be disclosed to you in the interview process.

Full Time Care
- 100+ hours/month
- Works out to $15/day
- Infant to Kindergarten age
Part Time Care
- 50-99 hours/month
- Infant to Kindergarten age
