Child Care Fees
As part of the Government of Alberta’s new Affordability Funding approach starting April 1, 2025, a new fee structure will make child care costs lower and more predictable for all families. This replaces the childcare grants and childcare subsidy programs that were previously offered.
Alberta’s Government will pay on average 80 percent of the child care costs to the Dayhome Educator. The fees below are what families will pay for childcare with Child Development Dayhomes. Some dayhomes may charge supplemental fees if they offer additional optional services which will be disclosed to you in the interview process.

Full Time Care
- 100+ hours/month
- Works out to $15/day
Part Time Care
- 50-99 hours/month
